Matt 3:4–6

4 John’s clothes were made of camel’s hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey. 5 People went out to him from Jerusalem and all Judea and the whole region of the Jordan. 6 Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.

Why do people feel a need to confess their sins do you think?

 

Do you feel sinful?

 

Confess a sin to a brother or sister this week

 

Prayer:

Praise God that He is holy and righteous and without sin. Give thanks that in Jesus Christ we have forgiveness for sins and the opportunity of newness of life. Ask God to help you + someone else confess your sins and come to Christ for forgiveness.
