Titus 2:11–15

2:11
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people.
12
It trains us to reject godless ways and worldly desires and to live
self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age,
13
as we wait for the happy fulfilment of our hope in the glorious appearing
of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
14
He gave himself for us to set us free from every kind of lawlessness and
to purify for himself a people who are truly his, who are eager to do good.
15
So communicate these things with the sort of exhortation or rebuke that
carries full authority. Don’t let anyone look down on you.

One thought:

We have a Lord & King, who by right of conquest owns us.

Three questions:

What does Paul mean, ‘the grace of God has appeared’?

Are you eager to do good?

What is one way you could live a more self-controlled/godly life this week?

Prayer:

Praise God that His grace has appeared in Jesus Christ bringing with Him freedom and hope. Give thanks that we can live pure lives as Jesus’ people. Ask God to help you + others be godly and eager to do good.
