Matt 3:13–14

13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. 14 But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?”

Why do you think Jesus goes to John to be baptised?

 

Are you drawn to Jesus’ humility?

 

What does it look like for you to grow in humility?

 

Prayer:

Praise the Father that He sent the Son to save proud sinners. Give thanks that through Christ and His Spirit, our hard hearts and stiff-knecks have been softened to humble ourself before God’s work in Christ. Ask God to help you + someone else be more like Jesus in humility.
