Matthew 6:8–11

8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

9 “This, then, is how you should pray:

“‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.

One thought:

A good prayer begins with an acknowledgement of who we are praying to

Three questions:

Who does Jesus remind us God is?

Do you see God as your heavenly Father?

How do you normally pray?

Prayer:

Praise God that He is the holy God who by His grace allows us to call Him Father. Give thanks that through Jesus, God’s will has been done and His Kingdom has come. Ask God to help you + someone else look to Him as your heavenly Father.
